flipped again.
this is the third and final time i'm going to try to blog for today.Flipped in the afternoon after my second attempt at trying to blog was futile.
Spent some quality time with my block-mates just now. haha. Wrote my own name for the block's door gift, helped to piece a jig-saw of a jac russell terrier, plus watched tv for 3 hours. haha. Singapore idol's special on the 'unsung heros' was..well..ay okay. Really admired the courage of lily goh, who if you didn't know, is actually deaf, and how she still went to audition for singapore idol.
Dinner today was a cheeseburger plus fish dippers. Haha. And i was trying to swore off macdonalds. Ah well. No choice. Dinner wasn't provided in hall today. Many of them had to rely on kind souls who had to go all the way to fong seng or where-have-you to da pao a decent meal.
Or else, you could call for kfc or pizza takeaways. haha.
I'm still halfway through my first lit book, and sighs, i still have 5 more to go. Lit lectures seem to just whiz past me, and half the time, i find myself having no idea as to what's going on. Also, seems to me that uni life consists of reading and writing essays. Essays are quaintessentially a part of every subject, from biology to philosophy. Already, i'm feeling so overwhelmed with the cirriculum demands (just realised today that i have 2 essay assignments at hand, and both are due in october) and the essays bit. Mind you, i'm in science not arts. Really wonder how the artsy peeps cope with all the writing of essays. bleah.
My fingers are feeling numb. Shall stop blogging, and continue my 'quest' to complete reading 'the moonstone' and hopefully start on 'the prime of miss jean brodie' by this weekend.
