b.l.a.c.k.
haha.Well, i was supposed to come online yesterday night to blog, but the inevitable happened. So i had to settle with writing out what i'd wanted to blog instead and post it up on my page when electricity has been restored.
Pitch black. Total black-out.
From where i'm sitting in the balcony, i can see small pecks of orange and white lights as i look at the block opposite mine. A family was playing with sparklers just a moment ago. Looking up into the dark sky, I'd never imagined moon light to be this bright until now.
Just looking out, i can actually see the trees, the pavement and some people who 'd decided to hang around downstairs while waiting for the power to come back on.
I've certainly taken the moon, rather the sun, for all its sheer brightness and illuminating power for granted. We only realise how bright the moon is when everything else, every other source of light 'disappears'.
I had never experienced a black out as massive as this. While basking under the moon-light, enjoying the night breeze with a cup of ribena. i'm suddenly reminded of the new york black-out that occured almost one year ago. Even with this black-out going on, you'd expect everyone to be edgy, and irritated at having their air-conditioning turned off, thus making it virtually too hot to sleep. I suppose there'd be some who invariably feel that way, and others like me, who are actually feeling relaxed while the people at PUB are frantically trying to identify and solve the problem asap.
Now would be a very good time for family bonding, with distractions such as the phone, television, radio and computer all having come to a stand still.
Imagine life without electricity. Having none for one, two hours seem refreshing and fun, but i wouldn't want to have none for the rest of my life.
To those out there who were gloating last night as they, unfortunately (in my opinion) still had power running, you've actually missed out on one of life's experiences.

forca !!
Listening to nelly futardo's forca eary in the morning seems like a sign that today's gonna be a very good day. Haha. I'm a fatalist. Maybe. Maybe not. ^_^Today's going to be a busy day. Buzzing to the gym to meet an old friend for an intensive (hopefully :)) work out session at 10am. Then, its trotting down to orchard to window shop with another friend..(note: window shop)hahah..and to meet the i.c for the sports camp to settle camp stuff. For once in the past few weeks, i feel like i'm making good use of my time.
List of things to learn/'achieve' before the end of this long and very very relaxing holiday...
1. Learn how to blade properly.. including how to stop yet look professional.
2. Learn how to play the guitar. Just basic chords. As long as i can play without having to pause too long to change the chords. haha.
3. Grow taller. Quite impossible but i'll still try. ^_^
4. Get fitter, tonner and leaner. Hahahahhahahaha. Isn't that everyone's dream ?
5. Start reading my chem textbook and notes over again. 'd better get my engine started and the brain to register the word "STUDY".
And i just realised something. I am totally un-photogenic. I don't seem to have a 'decent' looking photo that i can upload onto friendster. *wails!*

television mania.
Looking forward to another episode of gilmore girls later at six. Can't believe they're showing season four already. Channel five hardly advertised for it. This latest season's basically about rory's school life at Yale university. Yeah. Lucky girl. She is blessed with both brains and good attractive looks (i feel :)) plus a cool mum and rich grandparents. Some people just have it all.
And i had no idea that the latest season of seventh heaven (which i think should be changed to ninth heaven) was shafted to sunday mornings at 9am.
Well at least there'll still be tv to look forward to after american idol.
The OC, the apprentice, f.r.i.e.n.d.s, euro 2004, extreme make-over, C.S.I, faking it, junkyard wars. I love the person who invented TV.

Crushed..depressed..dilemma.
I'm totally crushed.France lost to Greece..it's crazy!! All the supposedly strong teams are out..especially France who's said to be in the finals! The ex-champs defeated by a total underdog.
France adds to the list of teams. Italy, Spain, England and France. Argh. Almost cried while watching the match go into the eightieth minute. Still 1-0.
Huge match tonight man.. Holland VS Sweeden. Sheesh. Holland had better win.. if not i'm gonna boycott the euros altogether. Seriously ! Whats there left to watch ? Okay..then again the czechs are strong..i'm going to take side with Czech should Holland get booted out later.
And big dilemma!
The sports camp, union camp, and VCF camp all fall in the same week and clash with one another. Thought i could go for all three initially, looks like i'm going to have to make a tough choice *again*. I hate making such choices. Then again, i don't think i have much of a choice to make. A part of me really wants to go for the sports camp...i mean, how often do you get to go for camps like these where u sweat it out..work those muscles again and lose calories while having fun ? The other part of me wants to make it for the CF camp... at least there will be other young christians there whom i'd be able to relate to and build friendships with.
I might have to do the coin tossing bit.
Heads or tails ?

euro fever!
ARGh.i missed one of those exciting matches again.
Portugal vs england. How could i. The alarm didn't go off...or at least i didn't hear it go off. Drats!
I could literally hear shouts and scream in my sleep... coming from my dear sister and from the males in my block whom i assumed had stayed up to watch the match too. How ever do they get up for work the next day..or rather..later in the morning? These males are truly die-hard euro fans..no doubt about it.
My bets were on england right from the start. Thought they could have further sealed their place in the competition by winning portugal...didn't expect the home team to upset the favourites...at least the english put up a really good fight, forcing overtime and eventually penalties. And beckham actually missed the penalty. Sheesh. He's really going down..no offence to all the beckham fans out there...but i think he's no longer at his peak. I can still remember the crucial penalty he missed in 1998's world cup against...was it argentina..can't remember.
Later tomorrow morning... france vs greece.
i'm keeping my fingers crossed that greece does not win the match. I mean, kicking spain out of the quarter finals is bad enough...i hope their quest for the cup stops at the quarter finals.heh. *evil*

crunch time
my stomach and flabs are aching like mad. didn't know that lumps of fat could actually ache. I used to think of them as senseless, existent and persistent substances that will never seem to shed away no matter how many sit ups and crunches i do... heh. ^_^ Guess i'm wrong.Aches and pain aside, i feel good..haha..ache is a sign that the body muscles,or in my case..the flabs are actually put to use.. think i'd try to keep up with the crunches.. think greek goddess with a lovely tan a sweeeeeet figure to die for!! hahahahahhaa.
I'm dreaming.
Back to reality. The haze that's sweeping over and robbing us of our clear blue skies and fresh unpolluted/non-smoky air seemed to have disappeared today. One thing i've noticed is that, the haze is actually good in the sense.. nowadays, the sun is hardly that strong and glaring if you actually did realise. And the air, though a little smoky and makes us prone to thoart irritation, is actually much cooler now.
My mum just told me that the theme song for the upcoming movie spiderman 2 was actually sung by michael buble!!!! I'm trying very hard to imagine the song... she also said that michael buble is the perfect person to sing the song 'cos of his unique voice. heh. i might get my hands on the soundtrack.
Soundtracks shopping list...
1. Shrek 2 ... accidentally is love is so fun to hear! hahaha... love the song!
2. Troy . Remember by josh groban is very nice.
3. LOTR - Return of the king
4. Chicago Catherine zeta jones and reene zellwiger can sing man!
5. Spiderman 2
6. You've got mail
7. Something's gotta give

those good old dreams ...
i was looking for nothing in particular today and i felt so lucky.Managed to dig up some very old.. antient video tapes. Found the whole collection of the mr bean series, together with the video tape for the officer and a gentleman...AND i really didn't expect this one... mY girl! the movie starring the young and cute macaulay culkin. In the end, i spent the afternoon watching the officer and a gentleman. Though there were quite a few hitches and blurred out scenes through-out the movie, the movie was enjoyable... richard geer really looked so so good during his younger days. heh. ^_^
I also found a very old and quite 'mouldy' carpenters cd, and after a bit of 'scrubbing' and thorough cleaning, i just sat back and listened to those good old hits again. All of the songs in the cd were recorded even before i was born! Imagine ! .. my favourite song is 'those good old dreams'. Just listening to it takes my mind off alot of things.. and i get the malibu dream feel... the feeling of being in some exotic and exclusive beach resort each time i hear the chorus. Old songs are really the best. I'm so thankful for technology; without it, i probably wouldnt have the chance to hear such nice and evergreen songs.
"when there's no getting over that rainbow.. when my smallest of dreams won't come true.
i can take all the madness the world has to give, but i won't last a day without you."
~ i won't last a day, by the carpenters ~

the sun, sand and sea!
haha. The beach was gooddddd today. Went there in the mid-day with a few secondary school friends, 'equipped' with food, water, a hi-fi, a volleyball, a frisbie and a load of excitement. Amazingly, i didn't get as burnt as the previous time i went there, although the weather forecaster said that it was a sweltering 34 degrees celcius outside. My arms are totally sore now, partly sunburnt and partly from the intensive vball session. Anyhow, it was a fruitful trip to siloso beach today!
Must remember to apply aloe vera and lots of moisturiser to alleviate the pain and itch!!
By the way, how does sand get heated up so quickly under the hot sun? Felt as though i was literally walking on hot coal while at the beach. Could imagine the sizzling sound as i waddled ankle-deep in the sea. Haha. ^_^

i would die for you...
i would die for you. Those words resonate in my head. Not that someone's said that to me.. hah. Used to think that such phrases were overused to the point of being cliche.(they already are cliche) Came across those very same 5 words while reading a book by fiona walker...the book literally got me hooked onto it for 3 days..first 2 days were to try to get to the end of the book, to find out whether or not there was a happy ending.. although i knew right from the start that a fairy tale ending was inevitable. Who likes to read about sad tragic endings anyway ? The third day was spent re-reading the book again..haha. To tell the truth, the book is really not all romatic and mushy and stuff..only certain parts. I kind of envied the characters in the book, the lives that they led. Imagine travelling around the world with professional surfers and sports jocks, sky diving, riding on high waves, sky gliding... the list goes on, and finally meeting someone after a failed relationship of 13 years only to be so so sure that THAT is the person you're going to spend the rest of your life with... being so silly and absurdly in love to the point of being willing to die for him, only to find out that he's been matchmade to marry some girl in order to atone for his guilt and previous sins. Sounds like another version of the tragic romeo and juliet story uh.I sometimes question what true love is. Now's not the time to worry about such things yet, but seriously, how does one measure love and its authenticity for that matter ? Dying for someone would definitely mean true love. At least i know one person who did that for me- Jesus.
Asking yourself if you'd willingly die for someone whom you think you're in love with now might sound silly and undermining the value of life, but i think thats the only way to find out the harsh truth... that true love hasn't quite struck you just yet.

Bleah.I'm quite lazy to blog now.
Was watching Oprah in the afternoon. Totally unexpected. But ya, i managed to sit through the remaining 45 mins or so cos the interview was featuring nicole richie and lionel richie.
Yeah. Nicole richie, rich, spoilt socialite? About to star in the simple life? Thats her.
Apparently that show-the simple life, was shot way before she went to rehab centre to kick her herion addiction. The new nicole, looks genuine and ya, reformed. Maybe that's cos she was wearing a white dress during the show, but that's not the point.
Point is, why do we humans find it so difficult to believe it when some ex-con or ex- drug addict tell us that they've changed for the better? No matter how these ex-___ behave or try to show the world they've totally changed for the better, we still look at them with a jaundiced eye. We find it so difficult to belive in them again, just as much as they find it tough to trust us again.
Maybe it's a case of the boy cried wolf i guess.
Some of these people (the ex-___s) might have caused us to shift our trust in them again by doing something really bad, just after claiming how much they've changed.
Listening to broken vow by josh groban now. First few times i heard the song, i couldnt hold back a tear or two. The lyrics just touched me, though i havent quite experienced that kind of hurt and feelings, but ya it just did. His songs are soulful, and they really touch the heart... makes me acutely aware of my emotions that i didn't think or know i had.
i'd give away my soul... to hold you once again... and never let this promise end..
i let you go, now that i've found... a way to keep somehow.. more than a broken vow.

I missed the Germany vs Netherlands match as much as i said that i wouldn't.Couldn't get my lazy bones off the bed. Then again, why do all the nice, exciting and worth-watching matches have to be screened at 2.35am when practically the whole island will be off to dreamland on a normal working or school day? Ahh..wish i were in europe now, then my timing will definitely be in sync with all the match times.
And one more thing, has anyone ever questioned why the library only opens at 11am every day? At least 11am on weekdays, i'm not too sure about the weekends. I mean, why can't they open earlier? Say 9 plus, which should be the encouraged time to get up from bed, and indulge yourself in some good breakfast, the newspapers or a good book ? My mum says it's because they close late. How late do they close? 8.30pm? Frankly i don't bother myself with what time they close. I suppose the only reasonable explanation (for myself) as to why they only open from 11am is that more people actually use the library in the late afternoon and evenings, after school, after work...
Guess you can't have everything your way.
I haven't fallen sick in a long long time. Is that good or bad? I do experience a bad throat or a terrible runny nose now and then, but so far, no fevers, no chronic coughs and other nasty ailments. I take it as a good sign that i'm relavtively healthy then, though i don't quite take in at least 2 servings of fruits everyday.haha.
I'd read from somewhere that in order to provide your body with enough antioxidants, one should take in at least 6 to 8 servings of fruits and vegetables everyday. *counts mentally* That means, almost eating only fruits and veggies everyday?? How about proteins carbo ? shudders. I'd 'die' surviving on such a diet day in day out. Ok, maybe with chocolates included, i wouldnt mind la. hah.
Coming on to the topic of chocolates, i read a book review about this new book titled 'indulge' by... ah i can't remember the author. Though the book's fiction, it does provide some valuable information about cocoa in the world. Still remember one line that went, the UK are the heaviest consumers of cocoa, which only goes to prove how only the rich get to enjoy the things they do not have. Africa which is one of the main producers of cocoa, only enjoy about 3% of the world's production of cocoa. Sigh. You can't not talk about the unfairness of this world sometimes. There are too many examples to quote from.
But i guess, the main important thing is to be contented with whatever blessings you have.

It's crazy hot out there these days...especially today.Well, at least i know i shouldn't be complaining that much since i spent half the afternoon in library@orchard (the air-con was very good :))to read finish a book that i borrowed a few days back. Just want to comment, that having the bookdrop nowhere near the enterance and being situated at the lift lobby instead, is rather inconvenient since most people don't use the lift to get to the library even. (at least not me for that matter)
And i finally managed to catch 'bend it like beckham'!! hahahah. Was quite upset about having missed the show on channel 5 just last sunday so i didn't think twice about spending 17 bucks on the VCD. Expected the VCD to be cheaper though, esp with all the great singapore sale going on...things going for as reasonable as 50 to 70 % off in most shops, there could never be a better time to shop!! Anyhow, the show was worth every bit of the 17 dollars i paid. haha. Brit humour rocks. Can never get enough of it.Plus, the coach in the show...'joe'..is quite an eye candy.. Hehs.
favourite songs of all time... ^_^
1. don't speak - no doubt
2. beautiful ones - suede
3. bitter sweet symphony - the verve
4. you won't miss your water - craig david
5. sway - michael buble
6. unforgivable sinner - lene marlin
And i'm quite keen to learn to play the guitar properly. Everyone is saying how easy it is to learn it. Remember a friend telling me he kind of 'mastered' it within 2 days... guess those 2 days must had been rather intense.. practicing until the fingers were popping with blisters. *ouch*

Grr.I'm getting constantly bugged to re-write the appeal ever since that article in the straits times on saturday. The article took up the whole front page of 'home'... if u hadn't noticed, it was about three exceptional cases of youths who managed to get into their choice course even when their grades fell short of the minimum requirement.
Had one more hour to go yesterday night before the deadline for the appeal was over. Was forced to change and correct the appeal countless of times by my mum such that i missed the last epi of the jap drama. Highly irritated after that. Thats not all. Was supposed to get up at 2.30am to catch the highly anticipated France VS England match... and NO..i slept like a log, and maybe sleep-talked to my dad something like "nevermind, i don't want to watch." (i actually said that!!?) Now i fully understand the phrase the mind is keen but the flesh is very very weak. To make things worse, i woke up, turned on the radio just in time to hear Glenn Ong saying that this morning's match was superb...France totally turning the tables around by scoring 2 goals within 2 minutes..the defining goal being scored in added time, 20 secs before the refree blew his whistle. England was i feel..not as lucky as the French. Beckham missed a crucial penalty shoot which could have granted the english an early victory by crushing the frenchs' ego early in the match.
Sheesh. What a way to start off the brand new week.
I'm looking forward to the next BIG match... Netherlands VS Germany.
I'm all for the men in orange jerseys. ^_^

Did some crazy leg and thigh stretches today for pilates. Poof. What a session that was. haha. I found myself doing something close to a split. serious stuff aye. haha. And no worries eleri (just in case you're reading this)..you didn't miss out on much. We did the usual...the instructor only added one or two new exercises. yeps. and i still can't do that 'jack-knife' thing. Jack-knife sounds alittle crude. hms.
Had a rather bumpy taxi ride to start off the day. Sheesh. The 'uncle' was literally weaving in and out of cars throughout the journey..and the worst part, he didn't even bother to filter. What are the filter lights for you tell me ? Now i'm starting to believe that news article about more and more taxis getting into accidents. Talking about taxis..i'd come to this realisation today while trying to flag a cab. Just as i reached the main road, i saw a cab driving towards my direction...it was vacant. Would have gotten onto it if not for a chinese lady who stopped her mercs to ask me for directions as to where the polyclinic is. Though i felt abit 'gek' 'cos the cab had already drove past, i felt good. Who knows, maybe that lady was on her way to comfort an old relative that had unfortunately been diagnosed with a serious illness...or..she needed to be there urgently to help settle the consultation fees for someone who didn't have enough money. ^_^
Ya. I'm side tracking too much. I was about to say, just when you start to let go of any irritatedness that you might harbour towards a 'fellow' cab-flagger, you'll soon realise that there are definitely enough cabs to go around. A few seconds after i saw my 'competitor' board a cab, another came in the opposite direction. The more anxious and hateful you feel, all the more the cabs will not appear.
The lesson i've learnt is simply, learn to let go!
You might think i'm being very off-track here, but i think in a time when competition burries itself in practically everything we do, and that we have to constantly put up a battle-front in order to survive, letting go and allowing nature to take its course (cliche but true) is certainly not the wisest but is in fact the hardest thing to do.

Whopee!!Haha.Went to the newly opened Jurong East regional library this afternoon. The place is so so nice. Don't know if it was partly because of the ongoing rain and the lush comfy seats that i managed to 'chop' before anyone else could which made the atmosphere so warm, fuzzy and ideal for just chilling, or for serious reading. Oh, and by the way, the counter librarians were also very helpful in directing me as to where to pay my overdue fines and the bookdrop etc..haha..cant believe i didnt see the 24 hours station where the bookdrop and other terminals (for checking account status blah blah) were situated. IT WAS RIGHT BESIDE THE MAIN ENTERANCE! heh. Must have been to too overwhelmed about having such a wonderful library being at such close proximity to my house..walking distance..15 minutes that is. How lucky am i. For once, i'm thankful to be living where i am now. haha. ^_^
The teens section (on the top-most floor) that was featured in the sunday plus not too long ago, is quite a good hang-out place. There are these black leather seats with an inverted glass bowl connected to the ceiling, right above the black seats that plays music when u adjust the channels. How cool is that! haha..i even thought it was some lamp for that matter. Oh and plus, theres this shelf with all the latest CDs and booths where you can just sit, plug in the headphone and listen for as long as you like... Love those kids who came up with the concept for the 'verging all teens' section in the library. The national library board has certainly transformed the community library from a place where only so-called nerds hang out..a very condusive and quiet place to study so much so that all the seats are taken up only when it's exams time, into an enjoyable place to go to while on family outings or simply just a place to hang out after an exhausting school day. I believe that the NLB as taken a huge step in encouraging people to read more often, and it seems successful, at least to me.
After browsing for an hour odd in the fiction section, i managed to get my hands on half a dozen of books..which for your information are very very new, such that if i were to borrow them, i suppose im the very first person to get to read them. How often to you get to find and borrow NEW NEW NEW books from the library ? Hardly. In the end, i had to cut my choices to only three, since i still have one book at hand. By the way, i don't know if it's only me, but i'm the sort of person that gets attracted to a book/tempted to borrow the book only by first glances based on 1)the attractiveness of the cover and 2)the condition of the book..aka new or old a or weird smelling.
I love the smell of paper from a new book even as one uses the side of the thumb to run though the pages of the book swiftly...

Listening to maroon 5's 'this love' on class 95 now.Received this inspirational email from a church uncle titled 'A conversation with God'. Well, i'm not going to copy and paste the whole email here. Just thought i'd blog down some of the more thought provoking and heart-felt quotes and phrases from the whole email.
Food for the soul and mind...

This is my personal favourite. I can almost hear it speaking to me at a time such as now when i deem myself to be not as high-flying as some of my friends...

Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you.

Had my upper set of braces removed this morning. My doctor says to go back next week for the retainers as well as to have the lower set removed altogether. Haha. My teeth feels very very funny now..it's as if i only have my gums in-tact. All my teeth must have fallen out while that patroleum smelling, dirty yellowinsh paste was stuck onto my upper 'mouth' (don't know the exact scientific name for it) in order to make a mould of my newly found set of 'crown'-ing glory. hah. okay..lame.I feel like the ugly duckling being transformed into the beautiful swan... though its only the teeth we're talking about here. Each time i look into the mirror now, i see myself with a perfectly aligned set of teeth..like one of those 'miss universe' when they flash their winning colgate-white smile. It's amazing what braces can do to you...and to your self confidence.. not that my level of self esteem is very low to begin with.
And i had no idea that sizes for swim-suits go by bust sizes. What about the waist? I mean, they just ASSUME that someone with a small bust size would invariably have a small waist...and someone with a big bust size would have a huge rubber-tyre-like waist. Bleah. In the end, managed to find one that fits me nonetheless, and it had a 20% discount to it too! Haha. Ah wells, i'm..happy with it.
Yeps. And i really should do the online confirmation thing soon. Deadline is the 15th june. Someone from NTU called me today regarding this whole issue. I think they're calling so as to make a more accurate approximation as to the number of places that they can re-release. I admit i had harboured rather selfish thoughts about hogging onto both unis' offers, but on hindsight, i guess i have to narrow down my options... Uni starts in...about a month and a half's time ?!!? So i'm more or less settled with Science, that is unless i'm successful for the pharmacy appeal. I'm just leaving everthing to God and his divine plan.
Cheerios.

I'm happy today. ^_^haha.Caught the third installment of the 'harry potter' movie series. It wasn't too bad. Entertaining, hilarious(at certain parts), but i wasn't quite wow-ed except when they showed Hogwats...the school is BEAUTIFUL..breath-taking. Each time i saw the school, really wished i were studying..or working there. Wouldn't mind being a house-elf either. hehe.
Basically, the movie started fast. Everything happened quite fast..as in..things are happening simultaneously, in each corner of the screen, such that if you should place all your focus on one section, you lose track of what else that is going on. Yeps. There was this irritaing teenage 'couple' (notice my use of open and close inverted commas..) who were yaking non-stop through-out the movie..especially the guy..who was talking in a normal LOUD voice. He was 'talking' silly stuff..obviously he hasn't read a SINGLE harry potter book..but thats not the point. His very first comment was that 'Hermione' is very chio. ^_^ that i agree, but..Hello kiddo, we're in the midst of a movie...for goodness sake..ask your questions AFTER the movie would you ? Grrrr...was VERY tempted to give him a piece of my mind.
Believe it or not. I thought that the dementors were quite cool..they ARE cool creatures anyway..literally that is. They freeze everything into ice that comes into their way. haha. My good friend who was watching with me made the comment that the dementors reminded her of the baddie in the LOTR-return of the kings who apparently could not be killed by any man..yet was stabbed (in the face) by Eowyn.
Btw, whats with movies and this the-good-guy-has-to-die-in-order-for-the-vilest-baddie-to-cease-to-exist-from-the-earth-for-good theory? Seems as though it's in the fade now. Examples being Harry Potter and the matrix..where we saw Neo having to literally fight himself to death in order for agent smith to disappear. (i wouldn't exactly say die since programmes dont really die)
Overall, i still think that the harry potter books are better than the movies. But can't blame the movie producers. Already, The Soccerer's stone and Chamber of Secrets..being the thinnest books in the whole series, already took up over two hours..what more The Prisoner of Azkaban? Felt that they did a good job in cramming the gists of the story into the movie still. ^_^
Following the movie , had lunch at macs. Haha.tried their new cheese-burger, together with a hot chocolate (which was just warm). Thankfully for the piece of marshmellow, if not i would have asked to have my hot choc redone HOT and not warm. Yeps. Theres pilates lesson tomorrow, and i'm rather looking forward to it. Its already lesson four..(time really flies) soon uni will be starting and i still havent decided what course i'd want to read. My appeal for pharm is being procrastinated. Simple reason being, i don't think i sound convincing enough and secondly, would i really really take pharm up if i were being offered the course? Dilemma.

Firstly, i've got to make a correction. I didn't download Bloggerbot. It was actually 'hello'..a program that allows me to share photos or pictures online. Bloggerbot is just acting as a facilitator. Yep yepHaha. Yes!! I bought my pair of adidas shoes..AND the utada hikaru CD today.
Got to exercise some restrain on myself. NO buying of things for the next month. heh. ^_^ Now, the song 'automatic' is on repeat mode on my computer. I can't get enough of that song. WAhh. Another song that's on repeat mode is craig david's 'you won't miss your water'..if thats what i remembered..weird title for a song though.
Just finished watching 'the wedding planner'. Haha. i used to boycott the show..but after having watched it..it's not too bad afterall. Not really A grade movie..but still entertaining..and hopeful. Hopeful as in..for those who are perpetually single, having doubts about finding the perfect someone after a nasty experience... =) haha. And whats with movies having a scene where the male lead,in his persuit of eternal happiness aka trying to stop the love of his life from getting hitched to another man...has to face the obstacle of a extremely heavy traffic jam first? Its a very overused and cliche scene that's repeated in tonnessss of movies and drama serials..from hollywood all the way to jap dramas.
Okay..tomorrow's vesak day. Have a good rest everyone.
